Proven and Professional
Delivering quality orthotic services. We provide online or face to face appointments with experienced orthotist to assess and establish what the problem is and offer advice and solution for the issue.
GAIT ANALYSIS
Gait analysis using pressure sensor plate to identify deviations in plantar pressures in stance, during gait and other specific sport movements. This allows us to identify any abnormalities during weight bearing activities and translate the information in prescribing and manufacturing the insoles for patient’s unique needs.
3D LASER FOOT SCANNING
Allows us to capture the feet directly weight bearing, semi-weight bearing or non-weight bearing position. With this data we can manufacture custom made insoles and can take into consideration any problematic areas. The data is then stored in a secure account for future pairs or for comparison after use of the orthoses. With the scanner we can scan foot impression boxes, your old insoles to be copied or footwear inlays to ensure that the new orthoses will fit in your shoes perfectly.
CUSTOM MADE INSOLES TAILORED TO YOU
Once we have the information and prescription needed, the insoles are designed and milled with our high-level efficiency milling machine, finished by hand and supply appointment, posting can also be arranged.
Standard insoles for improving comfort, alignment or performance are also available, contact us to discuss which option would be best for you.
THE BEGINNING
We have always been fascinated and interested by human abilities, how a human body can adapt to anything, how it can perform, what it can achieve. It led us to choose professions and hobbies in our young age that were closely related to that interest.
When we met, we shared the passion of helping people, improving their lives and movement. Working in the orthotic field, made us see the human body from a different perspective, how a well fitted device could improve rehabilitation or performance. A simple pair of insoles could change the levels of mobility for someone, which as a result, improves their life.
Origin of Hugo Heart
Hugo is our son, who we lost due to his heart condition. Our little boy had left heart hypoplasia, which meant that his heart was not strong enough to survive outside mum’s belly. We were both devastated at the time when we lost him, but Hugo has brought us closer together, made us see how strong we can be and what love truly is. We want our boy to live through our work and compassion to people in need of help.
Naturally, it felt like the right thing to do – to start an orthotic company, since orthotics is something both of us are so passionate and knowledgeable in. However, the vision does not stop there.
